do you take insurance?
I do! I have a family as well, and I know how important it is to take advantage of the benefits our medical insurance offers.
You should know a few things:
check your deductible. If you have a deductible, your insurance company requires that you pay me their contracted rate until your deductible is met.
to use your medical insurance, you must have a mental health diagnosis. If you work in a job that would be affected by your medical records reflecting a mental health diagnosis, then we must discuss this before your first session.
If you prefer to not file with your insurance, my private pay fee is $115 an hour.
do you work evenings and weekends?
I see clients as early as 7:30 am and as late as 5 pm on Monday-Thursday.
If you have a specific time that is the only time that you can come, I would take advantage of online scheduling and schedule a few appointments in advance so that you can be sure to get the time that works for you.
Be aware that many folks prefer later appointments, so if you know that you cannot keep your appointment, go online and cancel as soon as you know. That allows someone who needs the later appointment time to grab that spot.
No show and appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance
will incur a fee equal to your co-pay.
